Synopsis
A small crocodile is excited to see the new castle he’ll call home, but instead of being brought inside, he’s dumped in the moat! Didn’t he get to look inside?
One day, the small crocodile crawls up the hill to sneak a peek inside the castle and finds it filled with food, treasure, clean water, and everything anyone could ever want! But the crocodiles in the moat have nothing. They swam in dirty water and ate scraps. That didn’t seem fair, so he started asking questions.
“Why don’t we live in the castle?”
“Why do we protect the castle?”
“What does the king give us to protect the castle?”
This makes the other young crocodiles wonder, “Why don’t we live in the castle?” After all, there were a lot more crocodiles than kings, dukes, and servants.
The young crocodiles storm the castle and kick out all the humans, except for one.
The king begs with the small crocodile, and although it’s everything the crocodile had wanted, this was for ALL the crocodiles!
So, he swallows the king whole!
And without selfish kings, the crocodiles lived happily in the castle.
